Nineties becomes national
These enthusiastic customers had already bought some furniture from House of Porters. When they wanted to update their interior from the 1990s to a country style, they asked for our help.
House of Porters provided the advice and took care of the interior, and after a short training period in our workshop, the customer carried out the work himself.

Our advice put the customer to work
The first contacts were made during a visit to the showroom. The woman soon proved very enthusiastic, as evidenced by the various pieces of furniture she had already bought in our shop. When they wanted to embellish their dated interior from the 1990s, we decided to take a look and give advice.
The man also turned out to be very interested in our working methods. In order to master the techniques used, he did a short internship in our studio. This enabled him to give their house a new lease of life himself, based on the advice of House of Porters. After this short training, he went to work.
Walls and furniture were painted and floors and cupboards were greyed. The 90s disappeared, a young country interior appeared. Occasionally things did not go quite as planned, but then our craftsmen were ready to solve the problem. After the work was completed, we took care of the furnishing. The furniture, which they had already bought from us, was taken as a starting point.
Several rooms have been embellished in the meantime, but the renovation is taking place step by step. The orangery, the bedrooms and the bathrooms are still on the plan.
