The owners of this apartament have worked with Pieter Porters before. Therefore, they knew that he would interpret their wishes perfectly for this project.

The clients' request to House of Porters was to completely transform this simple apartment into a peaceful place in the centre of a bustling city, using our eponymous classic style.

A focus on art and craftsmanship

Pieter Porters immediately saw that this flat, situated in a very busy location, had to be transformed into an oasis of calm. In order to prevent the flat from becoming too monotonous, House of Porters created different atmospheres within the rooms, all united by the use of soft colours on the walls and fabrics.

Moreover, objects-de-curiosity create a unique display together with antiques and works of art from the customers' own collections.

This project is based on many details such as textures and patinas that compliment each other. This, including the furniture that was hand-patinated and aged by the House of Porters workshop, created an atmosphere that is absolutely unique.
